Carbonxgen has been made a finalist in two categories at The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCA) 2020; The Wellbeing Award and the Diversity Pioneers Award. The Wellbeing Award recognises businesses which go the extra mile for their employees, and the Diversity Pioneers Award celebrates those companies that make their working environment inclusive for all to succeed.
Now in their eight successive year, the TELCAs honour the best energy consultancies in the UK. This year, the awards introduced a new look and new award categories. Alongside these changes, the judging process was also much more rigorous, involving a testing interview session of 80 questions covering all aspects of the award entrant’s business and its work with its customers.
Tracy Lewis, Managing Director at Carbonxgen, said:
“We are honoured to be shortlisted for these awards. We have always known that our greatest asset is our people and have invested heavily in processes and systems to ensure that the workplace is a happy and healthy environment where everyone can thrive. Most recently this has included increased training provision for stress management as well as securing our very first Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) to drive a culture where people feel they can talk openly about their mental health. One thing this pandemic has taught us is that we cannot take these things for granted. I would like to send my best wishes to all this year’s well deserved finalists.”
The winners will be selected via a virtual ceremony taking place in December 2020.
