Efficiency

Target. Measure. Reduce.

We understand the interdependent nature of the built environment and deliver solutions that drive and maintain efficiencies to deliver reduced operating costs, increased profit and lower emissions.

Targeting, Monitoring & Engagement (TM&E)

Energy conservation is the product of strategic activity, driven by the interpretation of information from data. Our approach is as much about the communication and engagement of the building stakeholders, as the undertaking of data analysis. We use data to inform the identification of anomalies and opportunities through a suite of different reporting mechanisms and to develop an action log, and engagement to drive action and realise the savings identified.

Energy Surveys

Every building is unique and so before providing solutions, it is necessary to experience the issues first-hand. We offer a range of energy audits designed to identify areas of improvement that will have a major impact on your energy costs and carbon footprint focusing on the central plant and other major opportunities for reducing usage. Undertaken by a dedicated energy manager, our audits quickly establish whether or not your building is using too much energy and, if so, what are the probable causes and key opportunities for improvement.  Our audits are undertaken in line with the BS EN 16247-1:2012 framework to ensure consistency and quality in our approach. Audits can also be undertaken in line with the requirements of ESOS.

INCENTIVE SCHEMES

There are numerous opportunities to secure financial benefits to support energy related initiatives. We assess the benefits and relevance of each of these, providing recommendations on the qualification for any scheme that may assist you in meeting your business objectives, and providing support on compiling the required data and evidence to support your applications. Some of the schemes we are involved include the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), Feed In Tariff (FIT), Combined Heat and Power Quality Assurance (CHP QA) and Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA).

Energy Strategies

It is neither efficient, nor effective to address energy issues in isolation. The strategies we deliver are tailored to each unique situation and take into consideration the interdependent nature of energy, legislative and sustainability drivers.

ISO50001

Implementing an energy management system under the ISO framework will support your organisation in reducing cost, conserving resources and tackling climate change. Our service is tailored to the needs and objectives of your business with a practical approach that engages all key stakeholders. We provide in-house auditors, experts and administrative support to ensure you achieve and maintain accreditation whist focusing on delivering tangible benefits.
